Hi! Thanks for you rapid response, David! This is what the error log says.: I'm very worried that I have to choose between Eclipse or command line executions of JFreeChart-based programs. If so, which ones? And would it be safe to leave out the conflicting ones or would that jepordize the use of JFreeChart? My guess is that some jar-files are conflicting, or? jar-files out of ~/Library/Java/Extensions. However, as mentioned, Eclipse starts behaving strange, and does so until I remove those. At least the included demo jfreechart-1.0.10-demo.jar runs even if moved from the downloaded folder (it of course also work while in the unpacked folder where all jars are locally available).

jar-files in ~/Library/Java/Extensions to be able to also run java programs in unix (from the command prompt) and got that working.

However, by restarting Eclipse the problems eventually seem to disappear.

No view can be opened due to Null Pointer Exceptions, it seems.
#Where do i place java libraries on my mac for eclipse mac os
The minute I installed JFreeChart 1.0.10, and configured Eclipse 3.3.2 on the MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.5.2 to include jfreechart and jcommon as local libraries as described in the installation guide, I get problems in Eclipse.
